Viking Helmet Cake - 2021.  Gluten-free carrot cake with vanilla frosting.  Fondant and modeling chocolate for all decorations.  I used a wooden round from Home Depot for the shield, covered it in plastic wrap, used fondant on the outside and carved it for texture, then painted using gel and powder food dye.
