100% Edible Pokemon Cake  

This cake took me roughly 25 hours, and was created from scratch in stages (freezing some elements along the way, and completing the baked cake layers last, for freshness).  The cake is half chocolate and half vanilla, covered in dark chocolate ganache. Bulbasaur, Lapris, and the Starmies and Staryus are white modeling chocolate, painted with food dyes. Onyx on the top is sculpted out of a cookies and chocolate fudge. The leaves are wafer paper, the water is butterscotch gelatin, the sand is crushed graham crackers, and the water splashes and Starmie/Staryu gems are isomalt.
